Roland Hobart came to Shelbyville, Indiana from his native Innsbruk in 1966. Known for his bold, graphic precision, he quickly became a highly regarded figure in the central Indiana art community. His literal towering achievement — a downtown Indianapolis super-graphic — is sadly fading and flaking into history. Not content with being famous in Shelbyville, Hobart reinvented himself again!
